WE ARE

Nelvina Mootyen

Nelvina is a designer and creative entrepreneur with a strong background in fashion design, product development, and creative direction. Her work combines sharp visual thinking with strong attention to detail, shaping design that strengthens identity, whether for a personal brand, a business, or a product. Nelvina takes ideas from early concept through to execution, creating visuals that are clear, consistent, and easy to apply. Her priority is design that holds up in real life, across formats, channels, and day-to-day use, not just in presentations. She is especially attentive to the relationship between aesthetics and function: how design communicates, how it feels, and how it holds up over time. Alongside design work, Nelvina is passionate about creativity as a tool for connection. She has been involved in creative initiatives that use art and making as a way to bring people together, encourage reflection, and build shared experience. At Novo Chapters, Nelvina leads creative direction across design and art-based experiences. She supports clients in shaping visual identity and creative work that feels intentional, while also bringing creativity into learning and team development in a grounded, accessible way. Her style is thoughtful and refined, with a strong focus on authenticity and meaningful design.

Nelina Mootyen-Aurmoogum

Nelina is a people-and-growth professional with strong experience across leadership development, HR consulting, organisational effectiveness, and coaching. Her work has always centred on two questions: how do organisations build environments where people can perform well, grow with confidence, and stay engaged over time and how do we get people to develop their full potential? Over the years, Nelina has worked closely with leaders and teams on the practical side of people development, strengthening communication, building leadership capability, improving collaboration, and helping organisations navigate change without losing momentum. She is known for bringing structure to complex situations, and for translating ideas into actions that teams can actually apply. Nelina’s approach is direct but supportive. She values honest conversations, clear expectations, and measurable progress. Whether she is supporting an organisation with leadership capability, helping a manager grow into a stronger people leader, or guiding a professional through a career transition, her focus stays rooted in real-world outcomes. At Novo Chapters, Nelina leads the work across learning, coaching, and talent-related services. She shapes programmes and engagements that are grounded, human, and relevant to the realities of work, balancing business needs with the human side of performance. Her work reflects a belief that learning should be applied, development should feel meaningful, and growth should be sustainable.
